On day two we will take our second ferry off the opposite side of the island in to discover the 'Valley of the Kings' and the visitors centre, of the Kilmartin Glenn, another of the most important areas of ancient history. We will explore the sites of the Isle of Skye and have a full day on the Isle of Lewis, the location of the amazing Callanish complex, one of the wonders of the Neolithic World. Our journey to the Outer Hebrides will again involve ferry journeys and we will also visit one of the best preserved ancient Brochs and will reach our furthest point north at the largest megalith/standing stone in Scotland.

For the first time in 2011, we will quest out the sites around the Lock Ness area and on our journey home we will spend a peaceful evening in the hotel on the banks of Loch Long.
