Mysterious North Wales & the Arthurian Grail Connection

CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS OF THIS TOUR

The beautiful landscapes and panoramic coastlines of North Wales hide a treasure trove of historical sites ranging from the natural sacred waterfall at Dyserth and the Well in Holyhead to man made Stone Age monuments such as the standing stones in the Gwytherin churchyard and the burial chamber at Capel Garmon.

We will be visiting all of the these together with Maen Achwyfan, a Christianised Ancient Cross, two of the earliest Templar graves and as many more sites as we can fit in. These hills and valleys were also reputed to have been the home of King Arthur and we will be visiting sites associated with the legend.

The amazing hill top fort of Dinas Bran, overlooking the town of Llangollen, (where we will stay for the night), is said to have been built to hold the holy grail and the Valle Crusis Abbey, Eliseg’s Pillar and Arthurs Stone in Ruthlin all have their Arthurian connections.
