The Lake District has some of the most beautiful and dramatic landscapes and seascapes in Britain and its ancient, mystical and historical sites of are second to none. On this weekend tour we will be staying at the high quality Queens Hotel on the high street of the picturesque town of Keswick, surrounded by mountain fells and with its great atmosphere, numerous old fashion pubs and great assortment of restaurants. Over the weekend, we will explore some of the classics of the Lakeland’s wealth of history and pre-history and some little known gems.
